The Chicago post-rock whole Dianogah comprised bassists Jay Ryan and Jason Harvey in tandem with drummer Kip McCabe. The radical debuted in 1995 with the individual "100% Tree," followed early the next year by "Garden Airplane Trap; " these deuce seven-inches were later self-possessed as the EP Old Material, New Format. Dianogah's phone number one uncut travail, As Seen From Above, was released in 1997; a series of compiling appearances -- including contributions to Zum Audio Vol. 2 and the Reach the Rock soundtrack -- constituted the trio's output in the months to follow, with Conflict Champions eventually appearing in mid-2000. The following bound, Dianogah released the unmarried Hannibal / A Bear Explains.... A one-third untrimmed studio effort, Millions of Brazilians was issued in springtime 2002. John McEntire, who's known for his production run with Tortoise, The Sea and Cake, and Bastro, aided Dianogah on their to the highest stage cohesive crop to escort. The Rachel's Rachel Grimes and John Upchurch of The Coctails also guested on Millions of Brazilians.
